That keeps the file coherent. You are not starting from scratch with a solicitor who has never seen the demand history. We do not provide legal advice and we do not conduct litigation ourselves.
A referral includes the invoices, the demands and the notes of what the debtor has said. The lawyer receives a file with a history, and you are not asked to retell it from memory. We remain available to explain the recovery steps already taken. Advice on whether to sue, and the conduct of any proceeding, comes from the lawyer.
